MANAMA, Apr 16: Bahrain’s national carrier Gulf Air has announced a phased resumption of flights to multiple international destinations starting May 1, 2026, as part of a major network restoration.
From May 1, services will resume to key cities including Doha, Bangalore, Goa, Munich, Moscow, Milan, Athens, Casablanca, Cairo, Manila, Maldives, Colombo, Kuwait City, Madinah, Dammam, Karachi, and Amman, reports GDN.
The airline will further expand operations from May 15, reinstating flights to Manchester, Rome, Guangzhou, and Singapore.
From June 1, additional routes will be restored, including London Gatwick, Larnaca, Baku, Tbilisi, Shanghai, New York, and Al-Qassim.
In addition to restoring its network, Gulf Air will introduce seasonal summer destinations for 2026, including Geneva, Málaga, Nice, and El Alamein, catering to increased travel demand during the holiday period.
