KUWAIT CITY, Nov 18: The Ministry of Interior has outlined the official procedure for individuals seeking to amend their legal status and demonstrate the seriousness of their situation, particularly those whose Kuwaiti nationality was withdrawn under Article Five, as well as their dependents.

In an informational video published on its official account on the platform “X”, the Ministry explained that applications must be submitted online through the Sahel application. Applicants should access the Ministry of Interior’s services within the app, select the option titled “Submitting Status Amendment and Proof of Seriousness,” then proceed by choosing “Status Amendment” followed by “Proof of Seriousness.” A clear copy of the applicant’s passport must be uploaded before submitting the request.

The Ministry also noted that inquiries, issues, or complaints related to the process can be filed through the “Tawasul” service, which is likewise accessible within the Sahel application.
