KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, has issued a decision granting a grace period to companies and accredited institutions that conduct technical inspections for vehicle licence renewals, allowing them to regularise their legal status.
The decision amends Article (11) of Ministerial Resolution No. 2753 of 2024 to read as follows: “Existing centres covered by the provisions of this decision must bring their operations into compliance within six months from the date the decision comes into effect. The Director General of the Traffic Department may extend this period to a maximum of ten months.”
