KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: In a recent development, Bushra Shaaban, the Director General of the Public Authority for Manpower, Marzouq Al-Otaibi, has issued a decision to modify the provisions outlined in Administrative Resolution No. 842 of 2015 concerning the conditions for labor transfer between employers. The resolution initially prohibited the transfer of individuals employed by government agencies to the private sector. However, exceptions have now been introduced for three specific categories.

The amended decision permits the transfer of individuals falling under the following categories: spouses and children of Kuwaiti women, wives of Kuwaiti men, holders of Palestinian documents, and individuals with a university degree who are below the age of sixty.
