Governor distributes winter clothes to cleaning workers

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 14: Under the patronage of Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi Al-Sabah, a campaign was launched to distribute winter clothing to sanitation workers in the Farwaniya Governorate. According to a press release issued by Farwaniya Governorate, the initiative was carried out with the cooperation of the Commercial Bank of Kuwait, which is supporting the campaign’s goal of promoting social responsibility and assisting workers. The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Commercial Bank of Kuwait, including Public Relations Supervisor Othman Al-Shuraida, Social Media Manager Talal Al-Yousef, and members of the bank’s volunteer team Sheikh Jarrah Al- Sabah, Maryam Mohammed, and Nourhan Al-Bahrani.

Governor Sheikh Athbi highlighted the Farwaniya Governorate’s commitment to providing a safe and humane work environment for sanitation workers, particularly during the cold winter months, while also emphasizing the importance of strengthening partnerships with the private sector in community service. Meanwhile, representatives from the Commercial Bank of Kuwait expressed pride in their participation in this humanitarian effort, noting that it highlights the value of solidarity and collaboration among all parties. The campaign is part of a series of community activities by the Farwaniya Governorate, carried out in partnership with private sector institutions, aimed at promoting community partnership and serving the public good.
