MANILA, Dec 18: For many Filipinos, the dream of travelling the world is becoming increasingly achievable as the Philippine passport continues to offer broader global access. From the vibrant cityscapes of Singapore and the cultural landmarks of Thailand to the lively atmosphere of Brazil, international travel is now more within reach than ever before.
Filipino travellers can also stroll through the historic streets of Peru, relax on the beaches of Barbados, or explore the rich cultural heritage of Georgia, reflecting the growing mobility enjoyed by Philippine passport holders.
According to the latest Passport Index rankings, the Philippine passport is placed 62nd globally, with an individual country rank of 131 and a mobility score of 77. This ranking allows Filipinos to enter dozens of destinations worldwide through visa-free access, electronic visas (e-visas), visas on arrival, or electronic travel authorisations (ETAs), significantly easing travel requirements.
Visa-Free Destinations for FilipinosFilipino passport holders can travel to the following countries without obtaining a visa in advance, simply by presenting a valid passport upon arrival:
Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Cambodia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Côte d’Ivoire, Dominica, Fiji, Haiti, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Micronesia, Mongolia, Morocco, Myanmar, Niue, Palestine, Peru, Rwanda, Singapore, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.
Countries Offering E-Visa AccessThe following destinations require Filipinos to complete a straightforward online visa application without visiting an embassy:

Visa on Arrival for FilipinosFilipinos can obtain visas upon arrival at the following destinations without prior arrangements, subject to local requirements and fees:
Burundi, Cape Verde Islands, Comoros, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Mozambique, Nepal, Nicaragua, Palau Islands, Samoa, St. Lucia, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Trinidad and Tobago, and Tuvalu.
Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) DestinationsETAs offer a faster and simpler alternative to full visas through online pre-screening. Filipino travellers can enter the following countries with an approved ETA:
