Gold rush: Al-Nasr stars shine in taekwondo tournament

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 1:The Taekwondo champions from Al-Nasr Sports Club continue to add to the club's achievements, securing the first-place trophy in the inaugural tournament held under the new Olympic system for the men's category. The Annabi champions excelled, clinching 3 gold medals, a silver medal, and 5 bronze medals.

The outstanding accomplishments were spearheaded by Muhammad Al-Dhafiri, who claimed gold in the 58kg category ,Osama Al-Mutairi, securing gold in the 68kg category whileBandar Al-Enezi completed the gold rush by earning 80kg category title.

In the 58kg category Ali Bourahma clinched silver while bronze went to Yahya Al-Enezi.Mishaal Al-Mutairi, attained bronze in the 80kg category while Saud Al-Anazi, captured bronze in the 80kg category. Badr Al-Mutairi, secured bronze in the +80kg category and Jaber Al-Fadhli, claimed bronze in the +80kg category.

Expressing his congratulations, Sultan Al Musallat commended the club's board of directors, players, and the entire technical and administrative staff for their dedication in securing the Annabi Taekwondo Cup. This triumph, the first championship under the new Olympic system, underscores the club's prowess in the sport and sets the stage for future victories in upcoming competitions
