KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: The Government of Goa has formally invited a delegation of Kuwaiti event managers and representatives from the Kuwait Government Tourism Department to participate in the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), scheduled to be held in Goa from November 20 to 28, 2025.

The invitation was extended by Capt. Venzy Viegas, MLA of the Benaulim Constituency, in an official letter addressed to Shri Sanjay Muluka, Charge d’Affairs and Officiating Ambassador at the Embassy of India in Kuwait. The letter follows a meeting held at the Indian Embassy on November 2, 2025.

According to the communication, Mr. Carmo Santos, President of the Goan Cultural Centre in Kuwait, will coordinate arrangements and assist the Kuwaiti delegation during their participation. Goa officials expressed appreciation for the support of the Indian Embassy in promoting cultural and tourism collaboration between Kuwait and India.

The 56th edition of IFFI is expected to bring together filmmakers, industry leaders, tourism authorities, and international delegates, further strengthening cultural ties between Goa and the wider Gulf region.
