BERLIN, Apr 12: Iranians in several major cities across Europe and North America staged coordinated protests over the weekend, responding to a call by exiled opposition figure Reza Pahlavi and urging stronger international action against Iran’s leadership.

In Berlin, demonstrators gathered on Saturday, calling on Donald Trump and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz to take a firmer stance against the Islamic Republic. Protesters also urged Germany to end its agreements with Tehran.

Similar scenes were reported in Toronto, where Iranians rallied outside the U.S. consulate, calling on Washington to support the Iranian protest movement and stand with the Iranian people.

In Stockholm, demonstrators held a rally that included music and chants opposing Iran’s leadership, with participants expressing strong criticism of the government.

Meanwhile, in Barcelona, Iranians gathered outside the U.S. consulate, echoing similar demands and voicing opposition to the Islamic Republic.

The coordinated demonstrations reflect growing activism among the Iranian diaspora, with participants across multiple countries calling for increased international pressure and political action following the recent escalation of tensions involving Iran.
