Glitch in system facilitated transfer of expats illegally

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 28: A defect in the online system of Public Authority for Manpower allowed transactions related to transfer of labor even though these transactions are in violation of the conditions and regulations of PAM, reports Al- Nahar daily quoting informed sources.

They said some companies took advantage of the glitch in the system to transfer their laborers despite expiry of the salary certificates, knowing that the law bans transfer of expired and invalid certificates. The leaders of PAM gave immediate instructions to tackle the glitch in the system as soon as possible in order to follow up the violating transactions
