Gulfair flying from Manama makes emergency landing at Kuwait airport

KUWAIT CITY, July 5: Directorate General of Civil Aviation said on Monday aviation via Kuwait International Airport was restored after a brief stoppage due to a technical cause. The airport radar had suddenly stopped functioning resulting in halt of the air navigation that lasted for a short period.

Meanwhile Gulf Air GF 215 with 68 passengers on board coming from Al-Manama, Bahrain made a successful emergency landing at Kuwait International Airport, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said on Monday.The authority, in cooperation with all concerned bodied, have taken all necessary measures, the DGCA added in a statement, affirming that all passengers are “safe”.
