General Fire Force saves a worker trapped in a building crane

The Kuwait Fire Force team rescues a worker trapped in a malfunctioning maintenance crane.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 13: Firefighters safely rescued a worker trapped inside a malfunctioning building maintenance crane in the Al-Murqab area on Monday, with no injuries reported, the General Fire Force said.

In a statement, the General Fire Force explained that firefighting teams from the Search and Rescue Center in Al-Murqab responded to a report of a crane malfunction at one of the buildings in the area, which left a worker trapped during maintenance operations.

The teams promptly carried out rescue procedures and successfully brought the worker down safely. The incident was contained without any injuries or further complications, the statement added.
