The General Fire Force officials meet to discuss creating a Bachelor’s degree program in fire protection engineering.

KUWAIT CITY, May 21: In a significant step towards enhancing the expertise of the General Fire Force, Acting Chief Major General Khaled Fahd and Dr. Muhammad Al-Hayyan, Dean of the College of Technological Studies, convened on Tuesday morning to discuss the establishment of a Bachelor’s degree program in fire protection engineering. This initiative aims to produce specialized cadres in fire engineering to meet the needs of the General Fire Force, adhering to international academic standards and the requirements of global accreditation institutions.

During the meeting, Major General Khaled outlined the General Fire Force’s strategic plan to develop its human resources. This includes the introduction of new training courses and the consideration of study leave approvals for its members in line with the Force’s future needs. The proposed Bachelor’s program is expected to play a crucial role in equipping the Force with highly trained personnel capable of tackling advanced fire protection challenges.
