KUWAIT CITY, Sep 3: The General Traffic Department, through its Technical Inspection Department, conducted a joint campaign in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area with the participation of several government agencies, including the Ministry of Commerce and Kuwait Municipality.
According to a security source, the campaign targeted vehicle repair garages, as well as workshops offering tinting and vehicle accessory installations. During the operation, authorities recorded 111 traffic violations. In addition, four reports were issued against garages operating without authorization from the Ministry of Interior, based on inspections carried out by officials from the Ministry of Electricity. Meanwhile, Kuwait Municipality teams placed removal stickers on 150 abandoned vehicles found along roads and open spaces in Shuwaikh.
