Kuwait Cables advance in second roundKUWAIT CITY, June 5: Kuwait Cables reached the second round of the Late Abdullah Meshari Al-Rawdhan Futsal Tournament on its 19th day after defeating Wolver Hampton University. In the first game, the Futsal Boutique defeated Late Saad Al-Rasheedi team by three goals which were scored by Rodrigo, Sa’ad Al-Mukaimi and Abdullah Al- Sa’ad.In the second match, Kuwait Cables defeated Wolver Hampton University by two goals, which were scored by Meshari Al-Kannas and the Brazilian player Pola. This increased their total points to six, while Wolver Hampton University have only one point. In the third game, Al-Medmar defeated the team of Late Hussain Ahmed Al-Roumi by one goal which was scored by Salem Al-Faisal. BMW will soon face Switch, and KIB will play against Al-Ahli team from Libya. BMW is likely to reach the third round based on their distinguished performance in the matches of group stage where they scored a total of 16 goals in three matches.On the other hand, Switch could emerge with a surprising win despite the diffi culty of the task and depending on the Brazilian players Rafabil and Douglas. Late Ahmed Hussain Al-Roumi team put an end to the dreams of Fahaheel team after defeating them by one goal scored by Ahmed Boodai on the 19th day of the tournament. The team will meet Kazma in the semi finals of the group after Kazma defeated Atlas Lifts through penalty kickoffs when the match had ended in a draw of 1-1 in normal time. Two matches will be played on the 20th day, which will determine the top teams in the first and second groups. These two winning teams will face off in the semi finals. In the upcoming two matches, Al-Ahli will meet Sadhan Academy and the Late Sheikh Khalid Al-Yousef will meet Jahra Stars.
