Fuel theft for a few dinars

KUWAIT CITY, April 16: Hawally detectives have been instructed to arrest those who stole fuel from two stations in Hawally Governorate, reports Al-Anba daily. A security source disclosed that Misdemeanor Case No. 155/2024 was registered after a citizen, born in 1963 — the representative of a company selling fuel — reported that the driver of a Japanese vehicle went to one of the company’s stations several times on various days, during which he filled his car with fuel and then fled.
The value of fuel he stole is estimated at KD10. The citizen provided police with the plate number of the suspect’s vehicle. Meanwhile, Misdemeanor Case No. 156/2024, filed by the same company representative, involves a man driving a South Korean vehicle that carried out the same act at the station located on the Fourth Ring Road. Investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest the thieves.
