KUWAIT CITY, Mar 28: Kuwait’s Civil Defense spokesperson, Muhammad Al-Ghareeb, announced that firefighters have successfully extinguished a major blaze that broke out in fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport following a drone attack.

Speaking during a media briefing, Brigadier General Al-Ghareeb said firefighting operations continued for 58 consecutive hours before the fire was fully brought under control.

He added that Civil Defense teams have handled 82 unusual incidents since the start of what authorities describe as Iranian aggression, including fires caused by falling shrapnel and direct strikes.

Officials emphasized that emergency response units remain on high alert, continuing to respond rapidly to incidents to ensure public safety and protect critical infrastructure.
