Frost Alert Issued as Temperatures Set to Drop Across Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 16: Kuwait’s Meteorological Department has issued a weather warning for frost, citing a significant drop in minimum temperatures across the country.

According to the warning issued at 7:35 pm on Friday, January 16, temperatures are expected to fall below 3 degrees Celsius, and may dip below zero in some areas. The warning will be in effect from 1:30 am until 8:30 am on Saturday, January 17.

The department cautioned that frost formation is likely in agricultural and desert regions, urging farmers and residents in open areas to take necessary precautions.

The advisory was issued by the Meteorological Department under the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
