From Midnight Tonight to 6 a.m., All Shops & Malls in Kuwait Ordered Shut

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 7: The Kuwait Municipality has announced the closure of all shops and commercial establishments from 12:00 midnight Tuesday until 6:00 a.m. Wednesday as part of precautionary measures linked to the current regional situation.

In a statement, the Municipality said the decision was based on a circular issued by the Ministry of Interior aimed at maintaining public safety and enhancing security for citizens and residents.

Authorities urged business owners to fully cooperate with inspection teams and comply with safety directives to ensure smooth implementation of the measure and to support emergency readiness operations.

The move follows an earlier advisory from the Ministry of Interior asking residents to stay at home during the same hours, except in cases of extreme necessity, as part of broader precautionary steps.
