KUWAIT CITY, Jan 18: The current annual development plan report revealed a new project to transform public libraries into smart, model libraries, with funding through the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL). The report explained that a budget of KD 300,000 has been allocated to the project, which is scheduled for completion by the end of March 2028. The project aims to develop libraries, utilize them effectively in the knowledge economy, and support creative and cultural industries
The project aligns with NCCAL’s strategic plan and the “New Kuwait 2035” vision, aiming to transform libraries into smart, model facilities in line with international standards and offering innovative interactive services using artificial intelligence technology.
