KUWAIT CITY, Dec 26: The Court of Cassation upheld the ruling of the First Instance and Appeal courts, which sentenced an individual to life imprisonment for murdering his friend in Wafra. Case files indicate that the defendant hit the victim’s head during a heated argument between them and this led to the latter’s death. He later submitted a confession statement to the Ministry of Interior, disclosing that he put a drugfilled cigarette in the hands of the victim to make the investigators think that the victim died due to drug overdose.By Jaber Al-Hamoud Al-Seyassah/Arab Times Staff
