KUWAIT CITY, Jan 8: Three Kuwaitis died in a tragic traffic accident, Friday on Salmi Road. The daily did not give details about the accident, reports Al- Rai daily. In another accident an unidentified Kuwaiti died following a collision between a car and a truck on King Fahd Road towards Kuwait City.

The Public Relations and Media Department of the Public Fire Force stated after a report was received to the Operations Room stating that an accident had occurred on King Fahd Road, firemen rushed to the site and found the man trapped inside the mangled car. Firemen cut through the metal, freed the body and handed it over to the Forensic men. The cause of the accident is not known. Meanwhile, earlier on Wednesday, three people died in two road accidents in Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily.

The Public Relations and Media Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department stated the first accident happened between Mina Abdullah and Umm Al-Hayman between a bus and a sand truck. The vehicles were headed to King Fahd Road towards Nuwaiseeb when they collided resulting in the death of persons and injuries to three all believed to be Arabs. The fire department said the second accident was of a truck overturning on the Seventh Ring Road in the direction of Sabhan, opposite the West Abdullah Mubarak area. According to fire sources the driver was trapped under the overturned vehicle and died of injuries.
