Four injured in various accidents

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 29: Two Kuwaiti citizens sustained injuries when a vehicle collided with another and toppled on Sabah Al- Awal Street. When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the accident and that one of the vehicles fell over the cement wall of the bridge, securitymen, firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the location. Paramedics immediately referred the two citizens to Amiri Hospital in an ambulance. Securitymen launched investigations to determine the cause of the accident.

Meanwhile, an Egyptian woman sustained a head injury after her vehicle collided with another in Hawally area. Paramedics referred her to Mubarak Hospital for treatment. In another, earlier accident, a Kuwaiti citizen sustained injuries when his sports car collided with a truck on Airport Road.

In a press statement issued by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD), Department of Public Relations and Media explained that the Control Room of KFSD received information about the collision of two vehicles on Airport Road towards Ahmad and close to Seventh Ring Road intersection. Immediately, firefighters were dispatched to the location with securitymen and paramedics. Upon arrival, the team discovered that a sports car had collided with a truck and the driver of the sports car was trapped inside the car. Firefighters pulled out the driver from the car and handed him over to paramedics for treatment
