KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy is continuing its periodic maintenance work in the secondary substations in 19 areas. This initiative is part of the efforts of the ministry to raise the efficiency of the electrical grid and ensure a stable power supply. In its announcement about the maintenance schedule, the ministry stated that work planned for Wednesday may require a temporary power outage. Maintenance work will start at 8:00 am and will last up to four hours, depending on the schedule of each substation.
It was clarified that the power outage duration could change, based on working conditions and the technical procedures being carried out at the sites. It was confirmed that the maintenance teams are working hard to complete the tasks and restore power as quickly as possible. The scheduled maintenance work covers several residential areas and blocks, including Sulaibiya Residential (Blocks Five and 10), Mishref (Block One), Funaitees (Block Seven), Masayel (Block One), Salmiya (Block Three) and Bayan (Blocks Three and Five).
