KUWAIT CITY, June 5: In line with the commitment to intensify security measures and combat drug-related crimes, the efforts of the anti-drug enforcement team have resulted in significant progress. A gang comprising four individuals has been apprehended, and a substantial amount of illicit substances, approximately six kilograms of meth and heroin, were seized from their possession.

Under the guidance and supervision of His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, and Acting Minister of Defense, Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the security presence has been bolstered to ensure the swift apprehension of violators and criminals involved in drug trafficking. These measures aim to safeguard society from the detrimental impact of narcotic substances by apprehending those responsible for their distribution and sale.
The Criminal Security Sector, specifically the General Department for Narcotics Control, successfully apprehended the gang of four suspects. During the operation, authorities discovered the seized drugs, shabu, heroin, along with a sum of cash, in their possession.
Upon interrogation, the defendants admitted that the seized items were intended for trafficking and personal use. Subsequently, the suspects, along with the confiscated substances, were handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action.
