KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7: The remains of an unidentified person have been referred to Forensics to identify the cause of death, reports Al-Anba daily. According to initial report the man, believed to be an Asian, died about 10 months ago. The corpse was seen by a Kuwaiti in Abdali and he informed the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior. The daily added, there were no documents on the person of the dead man. The Al-Shahed daily mentioned the corpse belongs to an Indian and was found near a poultry farm in Abdali. The daily also said police have not ruled out murder because there were traces of blood on the skull.
Trading in fake antiques: Based on a complaint filed by a Kuwaiti, who is believed to be in his sixties, police armed with a warrant issued by the Public Prosecution raided the apartment of an Indian in Hawalli and arrested him for trading in fake antiques, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to security sources, the man is a criminal and was wanted by law.
Woman swindled: A Kuwaiti woman filed a complaint at Salmiya Police Station against a Ukrainian man who allegedly swindled her to the tune of KD 22,000. The complainant told police the suspect had an agreement with her to use the abovementioned amount to purchase a coffee shop but he disappeared as soon as he received the money. The woman tried several times to contact the suspect but his mobile phone was turned off, so she had no recourse but to seek the assistance of security authorities. A case was registered and extensive search operations have started to arrest the suspect.
