Former Prime Minister released on bail

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: The Court of Ministers released His Highness the former Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak on bail of KD10,000, reports Al- Qabas daily. The court’s decision is in response to the request of Attorney Ibrahim Muhammad Al-Kandari, in his capacity as representative of Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak, to schedule a session for his client to appeal the decision regarding his alleged involvement in the army funds case and release him on bail. The decision was taken in the first session of the court after Judge Nasr Al-Haid was appointed as its chairman, replacing Judge Badr Al-Saraawi whose tenure has ended.
