Food Unfit for Human Consumption Seized in Qurain

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26: The General Authority for Food and Nutrition, in cooperation with relevant government agencies, conducted a joint inspection campaign targeting food establishments in the Qurain Markets area.

The campaign covered 35 food establishments and resulted in 16 violations, including the sale of food unfit for human consumption, operating without valid licenses, failure to meet health and general hygiene requirements, and handling or trading food without the required health certificates.

The authority said it will continue inspection campaigns and regulatory tours in coordination with the competent agencies to ensure compliance with health standards, safeguard food safety and protect consumer health.
