Food distributed in 5 locations of Jleeb and Mahboula

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 9: The Minister of Social Affairs and the Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Maryam Al-Aqeel stated that MOSAL in cooperation with the Ministries of Interior, Finance and Health, and with the Flour Mills Company and charitable societies distributed food baskets to expats in the curfew areas of Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Mahboula.

Al-Aqeel said in a press statement today that the distribution of these food baskets will be on a daily basis in cooperation with the civil defense, noting that the operation today included 5 places and a sign that cooperative societies and their branches continue to provide their services naturally, to provide food and other consumer goods to ensure that all needs are covered in two regions.

She stated that Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Al-Khaled Sabah directed the necessity of providing the requirements of daily life for the expats of the two areas after the decision was made to isolate them which came in implementation of the health authorities instructions in order to contain spread of the Corona virus.
