KUWAIT CITY, Dec 10: The Meteorological Department has issued a weather warning alerting the public to an impending decrease in horizontal visibility due to fog, particularly in regions where it may drop below 1,000 meters. The duration of this advisory spans four hours, concluding at 7 p.m.

In response to the potential hazards posed by reduced visibility, the Ministry of Interior has issued a call to action for motorists and road users, urging them to exercise caution in areas where fog is expected. Emphasizing the importance of safety, the Ministry highlights the readiness of the emergency telephone operations room (112) to receive and address any reports related to adverse weather conditions.

Furthermore, the Ministry extends its cautionary advice to seafarers, recommending that they exercise due diligence in navigating through potentially challenging conditions. In case of emergencies at sea, seafarers are encouraged to promptly contact the operations center of the General Administration of the Coast Guard at (1880888).
