KUWAIT CITY, Jan 14: Anticipating a reduction in horizontal visibility, Director of the Meteorological Department, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, has indicated the potential formation of fog in specific areas starting this Sunday evening.
In a press statement, Al-Qarawi reported a significant drop in visibility at dawn today, with some areas experiencing only 100 meters of visibility due to fog. He mentioned that visibility gradually improved due to moderate southeasterly winds and scattered rain.
Al-Qarawi expects the resurgence of fog in some areas from this evening until tomorrow morning, Monday. This is expected as the winds shift from southeasterly to northwesterly, leading to intermittent decreases in horizontal visibility at times. (KUNA)
