KUWAIT CITY, Dec 4: The Meteorology Department has forecast that the country’s weather this weekend will generally be moderate during the day, and become cool in the early evening and cold later at night, with chances of light fog in some areas. The acting Director of the department Dhirar Al-Ali told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the country is currently under the influence of an extended weak high-pressure system, which will gradually recede to allow a low-pressure system to move in from Friday morning.
This will be accompanied by a relatively humid air mass, increasing low and medium clouds, slight chances of scattered light rain, and light to moderate southeast winds. Al-Ali explained that the daytime weather on Friday will be moderate, partly cloudy to cloudy, with light to moderate variable to southeast winds ranging from 8 to 28 km/h, slight chances of scattered light rain, and possible light fog in the evening. The expected maximum temperatures will range between 25°C and 27°C, and the sea will be light to moderate, with waves between one and three feet. On Friday night, the weather will be cool to cold, partly cloudy, with light to moderate southeast to variable winds ranging from 6 to 26 km/h, and chances of light fog in some areas.
