TEHRAN, Jun 26: Flights resumed at Iran’s Kish Island Airport on Friday after a four-month suspension, with the first passengers and tourists arriving by air this year, Iranian state media reported.

The reopening restores air connectivity to the strategic Persian Gulf island following months of halted operations. The resumption comes as regional tensions remain high, with Tehran issuing fresh warnings over perceived security threats.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned that Israeli military aircraft operating through the airspace of neighboring countries toward Iran would be considered a threat to the Islamic Republic.

In a statement carried by state media, the military headquarters described such flights as a “dangerous act” and warned that Iran would not tolerate any actions it considers a threat to its security.

The statement said that if the United States was unable to “restrain” or “control” Israel, Iran would consider responding to such actions its “legitimate right.”

“Iran will not tolerate any threat against itself and considers responding to these dangerous actions its legitimate right,” the headquarters said.
