KUWAIT CITY, May 10: In response to escalating tensions with Pakistan, the Indian government has suspended civil flight operations at 32 airports across northern and western regions. The suspension is effective from May 9 to May 14, 2025, with operations expected to resume at 5:29 AM IST on May 15.

The airports impacted by this suspension include:
- Punjab: Adampur, Ambala, Amritsar, Bathinda, Halwara, Ludhiana, Pathankot, Patialan
- Jammu & Kashmir: Awantipur, Jammu, Srinagarn
- Ladakh: Leh, Thoisen
- Himachal Pradesh: Bhuntar (Kullu-Manali), Kangra (Gaggal), Shimlan
- Rajasthan: Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Kishangarh, Uttarlain
- Gujarat: Bhuj, Jamnagar, Kandla, Keshod, Mundra, Naliya, Porbandar, Rajkot (Hirasar)n
- Uttar Pradesh: Hindon, Sarsawan
- Chandigarh: Chandigarhn
These closures are part of heightened security measures following India's airstrikes on alleged terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan, which were in retaliation for a terrorist attack in April that killed 26 Indian tourists in Kashmir.
