Fleeing law – In MP’s care?

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 12: A Kuwaiti who was wanted by law in a financial fraud worth KD 20,000 is said to have escaped from the Sentences Enforcement Department and is believed to be holed in the home of his brother who is a sitting Member of Parliament, reports Al-Qabas daily. According to security sources the man’s data has been circulated to all security personnel to arrest the man.

Meanwhile, the bedoun youth, who attempted to commit suicide by setting fire to himself near the Naeem Police Station on Sept 21 last, was apparently under the influence of drugs, reports Al-Rai daily quoting a security source. The same source said results of samples of urine and blood sent to Forensic lab showed the youth had consumed morphine and Benzodiazepine, which helps lose consciousness.
