DOHA , Feb 10, (KUNA): The Kuwaiti national swim team entered the World Aquatics Championship 2024 in Doha, featuring five talented swimmers. The championship, which kicked off on February 2, is scheduled to run until February 18.

Faisal Abu Al-Hasan, the head of the participating delegation and a member of the Kuwaiti Federation, shared with KUNA before their departure on Saturday that the team comprises Rashed Al-Tarmoum, Mohammad Zubaid, Khaled Al-Otaibi, Mohammad Al-Otaibi, and Lara Dashti, all under the guidance of Italian coach Simone Testasca.

Abu Al-Hasan revealed that the team is set to compete under the impressive Aspire Dome in the Qatari capital on Sunday. He emphasized that such international events provide valuable opportunities for participants to gain expertise and interact with other highly skilled athletes.
