Five Nabbed as Kuwait's Kabd Farm Used for Illegal Manufacturing

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 12: The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Department of Criminal Investigation, apprehended five individuals for allegedly using an agricultural plot in the Kabd area for unauthorized purposes, including the illegal manufacture and storage of food and consumer goods.

The operation was carried out in coordination with the relevant authorities following investigations into the use of the agricultural property for activities other than those for which it was designated.

During the raid, authorities seized machinery and equipment used to manufacture paper and scented tissues, paper cups and labels, along with quantities of food products, consumer goods and packaging materials.

The seized items were subsequently destroyed in coordination with the competent authorities. The five suspects were referred to the relevant authority for the necessary legal action.

The Ministry of Interior said any property proven to have been used for purposes other than those for which it was designated will be subject to confiscation.
