Fit to Serve: Mandating Medical Examinations for Domestic Workers in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 9: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has coordinated with the Ministry of Health regarding the medical examination of the holders of licenses for offices and companies recruiting domestic workers as a condition for renewal of their licenses, reports Al-Anba Daily.

PAM has adopted a medical examination model for owners of domestic labor recruitment offices and companies, which was circulated to all health centers to approve the medical examination as per the regulations. The authority took this step to ensure that the owners of the aforementioned offices and companies are fit to work.
