First padel tourney for disabled enhances integration into society

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: The Public Authority for Disability Affairs works to integrate folks with disabilities into society by supporting them to practice sports of all kinds and providing the opportunity for distinguished talents to partake in sports and develop their skills.

The launch of the first padel tournament for autism, Down syndrome and mental disabilities is a remarkable event that enable them to enter wider sports fields. The participation in sport events also improves their psychological and physical condition while enhancing their social communication in addition to motor skills, thus effectively contributing to treatment programs.(KUNA)
