KUWAIT CITY, July 19: The General Fire Service Directorate has reported an incident that occurred on Wednesday. The Central Operations Department received a distress call regarding a house fire in the Al-Waha area, where people were trapped inside.
In response to the emergency, the Central Operations Department swiftly dispatched firefighting teams from the Jahra and Jahra Al-Harfi centers to the location. Upon arrival, the teams discovered that the fire had broken out in a house divided into single rooms.
Acting promptly, the firefighters successfully controlled and extinguished the blaze, ensuring the safety of the people who were trapped inside the house. The rescued individuals were then handed over to medical emergency services for necessary attention and care.
