Firefighters control the fire in Kabd in record time

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 19: Yesterday evening four firefighting teams were able to control and extinguish a massive fire within record time, without causing any casualties that broke out in the offices and private residence of a contracting and construction company in the Kabd area, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily said after a report was received from the General Fire Force Operations Room stating that a fire had occurred in the Kabd area firefighters from 4 stations — Kabd, Al-Istiqlal, Al-Sulaibikhat, and Al-Isnad, rushed to the site and evacuated the workers and employees and fought the blaze from all sides and extinguished the fire using special materials before it spread to the rest of the existing buildings.

The Public Relations and Media Department of the General Administration of the Fire Force has called on owners and tenants of factories, industrial plots, and commercial and investment buildings to implement safety and fire prevention requirements, in order to achieve community security.
