KUWAIT CITY, June 3: Under the field supervision of Major General Khaled Abdullah Fahd, the acting Chief of the General Fire Force, fire brigades successfully controlled a fire at the Naayem scrapyard in the Salmi area. The prompt response of the fire brigades prevented the fire from spreading, and the situation was managed without any casualties.
Key officials present at the scene included Brigadier General Ahmed Hayef Hammoud, the deputy head of the firefighting sector, and Brigadier General Othman Saad Saleh, the director of the Northern Centers Fire Department. Their oversight and coordination were crucial in the effective handling of the incident.
