KUWAIT CITY, June 23 – The General Fire Force, in coordination with multiple government agencies, conducted a large-scale inspection campaign Sunday evening in the Sharq area of Kuwait to identify violations of safety and fire prevention regulations.

The operation was carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Kuwait Municipality, and the Public Authority for Manpower. It was led by Brigadier General Mohammed Youssef Ahmed, Director of Prevention for the Capital Governorate.

Authorities confirmed that several establishments were found in violation of fire safety and regulatory standards, resulting in citations and administrative closures. Offenses included non-compliance with the safety requirements of the General Fire Force as well as those mandated by other participating agencies.

The campaign is part of ongoing efforts to enforce building safety codes and ensure the protection of lives and property across Kuwait.
