KUWAIT CITY, May 28: The General Fire Force initiated an awareness campaign named "Prevention and Protection" yesterday, targeting the reduction of fire incidents in private residences and industrial areas, particularly as the summer season approaches. Additionally, the campaign aims to address drowning incidents.
In a statement released by the Fire Department, it was outlined that the campaign will involve the dissemination of awareness programs across various sectors, including military institutions, ministries, residential complexes, citizens, and residents. The focus will be on encouraging these entities and individuals to equip themselves with essential tools for fire safety, such as smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. Moreover, participants will be urged to prioritize the maintenance of these fire safety tools and equipment to ensure their effectiveness in case of emergencies.
