Fire destroys six shops in Souk Mubarakiya

KUWAIT CITY, July 3: The Public Relations and Media Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department stated firefighting teams from Al-Hilali and Al-Madinah managed to control a fire that broke out in 6 shops in Souk Al Mubarakiya Friday and prevented the fire from spreading to other shops, reports Al-Rai daily. No human casualties have been reported.

Meanwhile, the Operations Room of the Directorate- General of Fire Department said that a small fire broke out in one of the air-conditioning units of one of the commercial complexes in Hawalli, reports Al-Rai daily Firefighting teams from Hawalli and Salmiya fire centers rushed to the site, evacuated the complex as a precautionary measure and put out the fire on the first floor. No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is being investigated
