Fire Department Shuts 8 Facilities in Wafra Inspection Drive

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 23: The General Fire Force carried out an inspection campaign in the Al-Wafra Agricultural Area to monitor facilities violating fire safety and prevention requirements.

The campaign resulted in the administrative closure of eight facilities and shops for failing to comply with safety regulations.

The Fire Force also issued 17 violation notices to other facilities that did not meet its required safety and prevention standards.

The authority said the campaign comes as part of ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and protect lives and property.
