KUWAIT CITY: The Ministry of Social Affairs has directed all employees to strictly adhere to official working hours and comply with administrative regulations, following instructions from the Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila. In a circular issued to ministry staff, employees were instructed to record their attendance and departure exclusively through the approved fingerprint system, which has been designated as the only official method for tracking working hours.

The ministry also stressed that all employees must comply with work-related decisions and instructions and avoid neglecting their duties under any circumstances. To ensure compliance, the ministry has formed specialized inspection teams that will conduct field visits to departments and organizational units across the ministry. The teams will monitor employees' adherence to official working hours and administrative procedures and submit detailed reports highlighting any violations or observations.

The ministry said the inspection reports will serve as the basis for taking necessary legal and administrative action in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The directives warned that any employee found violating the circular or regulations governing official working hours will face legal accountability, as well as administrative and disciplinary measures. Officials and department heads have also been instructed to closely monitor implementation within their respective sectors to ensure full compliance, strengthen workplace discipline and maintain the efficient functioning of all ministry departments.
