KUWAIT CITY, Aug 28: The Kuwaiti Embassy in Egypt has reiterated its request to Kuwaiti citizens planning to travel to Egypt to declare any amounts of money surpassing $10,000 or its equivalent in other foreign currencies upon their arrival and departure at Egyptian ports.

In a statement received by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the embassy underlined that this declaration should be made using the form provided by Egyptian customs for this specific purpose. Additionally, it was clarified that in relation to carrying Egyptian currency, an amount not exceeding five thousand Egyptian pounds is permissible.

The embassy emphasized the utmost importance of adhering to Egyptian regulations in this matter to prevent the confiscation of funds and to avoid legal consequences.
