KUWAIT, April 27 (KUNA) -- Minister of Finance Barrak Al-Shitan praised on Monday the cabinet approval to delay collecting due monthly installments from customers of the defaulters and family funds due to the extraordinary circumstances in the country.
Minister Al-Shitan said in a statement that the government would refer the relevant bill to the parliament -- after being worked out by the ministry of finance in coordination with the fatwa and legislation department.
He affirmed heeding His Highness the Amir desire to deal with economic repercussions and negative outcomes from the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and alleviating burdens suffered by the citizens
