Filipino widower shot dead in Cebu

CEBU CITY, Philippines, Nov 14, (Agencies): In a heartbreaking incident on Monday night, Nov 13, a 39-year-old widower, Benvinido Ambrad Entice, fell victim to a fatal shooting in Barangay Tabon, Dalaguete town, southern Cebu. The assailant, identified as Alvin Tangpos, is currently at large, prompting law enforcement to initiate operations for his apprehension.

The grim event unfolded as Entice and his son conversed inside a hut. Without warning, Tangpos arrived, brandishing a firearm, and swiftly shot Entice in the head. The suspect hastily fled the scene, leaving the grieving son behind.

Authorities suspect that personal grudges may be the motive behind this tragic crime. Following the attack, Entice was rushed to the Argao District Hospital, where medical professionals declared him dead upon arrival.

As investigations continue, efforts intensify to locate and apprehend Alvin Tangpos, the perpetrator of this distressing incident. The community is left in shock, grappling with the loss of a 39-year-old widower who met a tragic end in the presence of his son.
